Selena Gomez is usually in the headlines for dating rumors involving Austin Mahone, George Shelley and even her notorious ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, so when the "Stars Dance" songstress debuted her new hairdo this week, we all have to wonder if it has anything to do with getting these boys' attentions. But a haircut might just be a haircut, but it's always fun to wonder the reasoning behind it. Selena has been romantically linked to two lucky singers recently: Union J member George Shelley and "the next Justin Bieber," Austin Mahone. While the Mahone rumors were recently cleared up, Shelley and Gomez reportedly have a date planned during the "Star Dance" tour.

"A relationship between her and Austin is not happening," an insider said last month. "They see each other at different events quite often but in no way have a relationship brewing. As much as they would make a cute couple, its currently not happening. She is focused on her career and hung up on Justin and the aftermath of there strained relationship."

Meanwhile, Shelley recently revealed his plans for his date with Selena happening on the "Stars Dance" tour this month.

"I will try to call Selena beforehand so it's not too awkward when we meet," he said. "My perfect date would be to go the beach at night. We could have a little bonfire."

George is definitely excited about setting up this date, but he also admits he will most likely "be really shy" when the date actually happens. He's not letting his nerves get the best of him, though: the 20-year-old also has a driving test the same day he's supposed to fly out for the show. Though he is most likely more excited to get some alone time with Gomez.
