Taylor Swift, 2013 Songwriter/Artist of the Year: 'Red' Songstress Wins Nashville Songwriters Association International Award 6th Time in a Row

Though Taylor Swift has been wracking up plenty of trophies over the years, the newest honor bestowed upon the Red songstress is her sixth "Songwriter/Artist of the Year" award from the Nashville Songwriters Association International. This also means that the 23-year-old singer is making history as the first artist to be named Songwriter of the Year this many times. She beat out five-time winners Vince Gill and Alan Jackson. She is also the youngest songwriter to win this honor.

This award honors artists in Nashville, Tennessee, that have garnered Top 30 singles. From July 2012 to July 2013, Taylor Swift has release 14 Top 30 songs.

This latest award will join her five others, all of which will be on display at the Taylor Swift Education Center opening this Saturday at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Swift also made a $4 million donation to the center

Her six awards will be displayed at the Taylor Swift Education Center, which opens Saturday at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. The 23-year-old singer donated $4 million to the center.

The opening of the center was originally slated for "early 2014," but is now able to open months in advance. This is perfect timing to place all six of her NSAI awards on display in the newly opened center.

The Nashville Songwriters Association International annual awards and induction ceremony will take place the day after the Taylor Swift Education Center opens on Sunday evening at the Music City Center.
