Two of the three Jonas Brothers have finally broken their silence regarding their cancelled October tour and the "deep rift" that exists within the band. In the afternoon on Tuesday (Oct. 22), Nick and Joe Jonas posted short, simple messages on their Twitters for the first time in weeks, telling fans to wait around and see what is in store.

"Bear with us," Nick wrote simply on his Twitter at 3:21 p.m. EST. Soon after, Joe followed with a social media message of his own: "please hold while we get out s--- together."

The three words from Nick and eight from Joe are the first time the Jonas Brothers have addressed their cancelled tour and problems within the band directly.

The tweets seem to be a glimmer of hope for Jonas Brothers fans. Last week, the group's official Twitter account was deleted suddenly, making it seem like the end of the JoBros was inevitable.

The Jonas Brothers' issues first began on Oct. 9, when the "First Time" band abruptly cancelled their planned 19-date fall tour two days before its kick off in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Speaking through a representative to People, the Jonas Brothers cited a "deep rift" within the band as the reason for the canned live shows. The cancellations were done suddenly, and backup band members were not even aware of the problems until fans were.

Reasons for the rift and cancelled tour have yet to be confirmed, but rumors include everything from a Joe Jonas drug problem to issues with Kevin's wife Danielle to simple musical differences about their planned fifth album V.

Kevin Jonas has yet to speak out.
