Season two of FOX's hit new series, The Following, is looking like a great follow up to its powerful first season. Earlier this month we got some sneak peaks and first looks at the new episodes airing in 2014, but this week we learned of a new casting update. Lee Tergesen, best known for his role on HBO's drama Oz, will join Kevin Bacon, James Purefoy and the rest of the cast in at least one episode of the second season.

You can check out some brand new first looks at the second season of FOX's The Following by clicking HERE and HERE!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tergesen will show up in the season's seventh episode as a guest star. The actor will portray KurtBolen, "a normal family man who Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) suspects may harbor a dark secret."

Clearly The Following is full of dark secrets already, but what should we expect from the new season? Perhaps as we progress these secrets will get darker. Seven episodes in also means that Lee could be playing an important role or at least one that has some build up.

For now, we have to just wait for more sneak peaks or maybe even until the start of season 2 before we learn any more about the new episodes.

"I love second seasons. You figure out what works and what you did wrong," show creator Kevin Williamson said over the summer. "It becomes a richer, more meaningful experience. You get your sea legs and you're ready to rock 'n' roll."
