For quite some time now, zombies have been a paramount focus in the world of video games. The Call of Duty franchise is no exception to this fact, using the undead creatures as targets in its previous cooperative multiplayer mode in the past. But with the latest CoD installment, Ghosts, we see the franchise moving away from the popular zombie fighting mode and exploring aliens! Is this the return to alien-themed gaming?

Many gamers feel that the whole zombie obsession is getting worn out. There are plenty of franchises based on the subject so why bother these days? It seems that Call of Duty: Ghosts has taken this fact into consideration and decided to move in another direction: aliens.

This week we were treated to a special trailer for Call of Duty: Ghost's multiplayer, co-op mode. These special bonus features to the game are sometimes more popular than the story mode, so as much attention to detail is put into this as well.

Exploring the alien concept might seem a bit strange for the war-themed battle game, but it has done zombies and it's a video game so stop complaining! It's supposed to be the most fun you can have until a newer version comes out so let's see just what this new co-op feature gives us.

Check out this new trailer for the cooperative gameplay feature in Call of Duty: Ghosts right here:
