Kanye West's Yeezus Tour may have been delayed, but nobody can hold the "Black Skinhead" rapper back for long. Yesterday (Nov. 6), West announced rescheduled and updated tour dates as well as a six cancelled shows.
According to Billboard, the Yeezus Tour has been plagued by problems due to its elaborate stage show, and things were not helped when an equipment truck was involved in an accident on Wednesday, Oct. 30, making the stage props so heavily damaged, they were beyond repair. Following that incident, the Yeezus Tour was indefinitely postponed, but now new dates are in the works.
Dates for Chicago, Toronto and Detroit were rescheduled. Unfortunately for fans in Columbus, Vancouver, Denver, Montreal, Minneapolis and St. Louis, thouse shows were cancelled due to "routing logistics."
The Vancouver date had previously been rescheduled to Oct. 31 due to an equipment truck not arriving on time, giving a double whammy to fans in the Canadian city.
Kendrick Lamar will remain as the supporting act for the tour, except for the second dates in Brooklyn and New York, wherein A Tribe Called Quest will open for West.
