Demi Lovato can list a lot of accomplishments in her 21 years: platinum-selling music artist, accomplished actress, recovered addict and more. Now, Lovato can chalk another big accomplishment to her name: New York Times best-selling author.

Since leaving rehab in 2011, Lovato has become a role model for not only her teenage Lovatics fanbase but for others in recovery as well. The X Factor judge published her own book of inspirational quotes, goals and daily affirmations. Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year was released on Nov. 19 to bookstores nationwide, and now the book has debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Best Sellers List.

According to a press release, the book is set to top the charts beginning on Dec. 8. "I am beyond thrilled and so honored to have my first book reach #1 on the Best Sellers List," Lovato said in a statement. "I'm so proud of this book and the positivity it urges. I'm happy so many people have been able to relate to it, because I wrote it for anyone and everyone, from all walks of life."

Staying Strong isn't the only place that Lovato has opened up lately. In an interview with Nylon (via People), the former Disney star recalled her wild child days, saying that she was far too hard to control in the midst of her addiction, cutting and eating disorder.

"My parents tried to control me, but I'd be like, 'Oh really, I'm grounded? Well, I pay the bills. They did they best they could. And I think that's why a lot of young stars struggle when they're making money or providing for their family," she said.

Lovato entered rehab in 2010 at the age of 18 and has remained sober ever since. She's planning an autobiography as a part of her book deal with Feiwel and Friends.
