Joe Jonas shocked the world on Monday (Dec. 2) when Vulture published his revelatory essay "My Life as a Jonas Brother." In the tell-all, the "First Time" singer admitted what his life was like in the spotlight, giving details about sex, drugs, alcohol and, most fascinatingly, life inside the Disney machine. In the essay, Jonas claimed that Disney stifled the Jonas Brothers' creative control and trained them to "play dumb" to the media, among other things. Now, some of Jonas' fellow former Disney stars are responding to his account of life with Mickey Mouse, and they're not all behind him.

Sweet Life star Dylan Sprouse, who starred on Disney in two shows with his twin brother Cole, answered a question on his tumblr blog and adamantly disagreed with Jonas' stance, saying the JoBros allowed Disney to take control because they were hungry for fame and fortune.

"First, I think it's bulls--- that they were being robbed of choice or creativity. If they wanted too [sic], they could have told Disney 'NO.' Cole and I did this hundreds of times and we ended up all right [sic]," he wrote. "The only reason they didn't is because, like many of the people on that channel, I think they fell for the allure of fame."

Sprouse went o to say that artists allow major corporations to dictate their every move because there if a "rigid structure to achievement," a notion that he rejects for true creativity.

Following Sprouse in the anti-Jonas came is former Shake It Up! Star Zendaya Coleman. Following the Dec. 2 article, she tweeted "I admire @joejonas and his honesty...so real and brave...but that's his journey, not mine...don't worry about me #igotthis."

Coleman is signed to Disney's Hollywood Records imprint.

Others have supported Joe Jonas. Demi Lovato, whom he specifically names in the tell all, tweeted that she loves him forever after the essay debuted online.
