As has been well established by now, the Jonas Brothers have called it quits. Early last month, the "First Time" band abruptly cancelled their October tour due to a "deep rift" within the group. After that, Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas all remained silent for several weeks until they announced they were officially broken up. The following day, the trio detailed the reasons for their split on Good Morning America, most of which concerned musical direction and creative control over the Jonas Brothers.
While the Jonas Brothers have finally explained themselves, one thing they had yet to do was directly address their dedicated fanbase. That has all been solved as the JoBros took to their official website to write a thank you letter to all those who have followed their career over the last eight years.
"It is with heavy hearts that we confirm that our time as the Jonas Brothers is over. This decision has not come lightly, and we know that many of you will be disappointed. The time has come for us to move forward on individual career paths," the letter reads before the Jonases confirm that they will continue to support each other in their own future endeavors.
The letter then goes on to thank fans and explain that new, previously unreleased music is on its way. "We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported and inspired us through the years, and stood by us in this difficult decision. We feel and appreciate your love. Because you waited so long for new music, we want to honor our Team Jonas fan club members by giving you our final album," later explaining that four studio tracks and 10 live recordings would be available "shortly."

In addition, we're including 10 live tracks that we feel capture the energy and excitement of this past summer's tour. Details regarding delivery of this digital album to Team Jonas members will be issued shortly. We hope you enjoy this album as much as we've enjoyed performing for you over the last 10 years. It has been an amazing experience.
