The world have been watching and awaiting Neymar's arrival on the world stage, and it appears that time has come. The youngster was tipped for a big move for many years, and last summer the striker, 22, became Barcelona's record-signing, and he has delivered on a consistent basis for the Spanish side. It feels like he's been the threat for Brazil for a long while, and he proved that with his hat-trick that helped his Brazil side beat South Africa 5-0 last night.

With Brazil hosting the World Cup they're a heavy favourite to lift the trophy, and they've now won seven in a row, and they've got a striker ready to explode on the biggest stage of them all. It couldn't be going any better for the Brazilians. The only worry on Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari's mind was the strip, and at half-time they changed from their yellow kit to their blue one.

Although he has years to progress, strangely this isn't Neymar's first hat-trick at international level, and he scored one in their 8-0 win over China in 2012. Brazil are five-time winners, and with their impressive form and stunning striker, you'd expect them to be a top contender when the final arrives.

With Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon in their way, it's safe to say they'll be more worried about Neymar than he and his team will be about them. Is Neymar the best striker in the world, and how many goals will he score at the World Cup?
