Johnny Manziel is yet to take a single snap in the NFL, yet it seems like everything there is to be said has been said about the young quarterback. Some believe he's the second-coming of Super Bowl winner Russell Wilson, whilst others think he will be a huge Tim Tebow styled flop. On Thursday 27th March Manziel had his pro day, with many spectators, and he knew it was his chance to raise his stock higher than rival Teddy Bridgewater's, and go toe-to-toe with Blake Bortles. He did just that, if not more than that.

In attendance was former President George HW Bush and Texas governor Rick Perry, so it'd come as no surprise if he flopped, but he was focused and was near perfect. He came out to music from Drake, and it carried on as he went through all of his drills. He shocked everyone in attendance by going through his workout wearing all of his uniform, which has never been done before. Representatives from several NFL teams were there, and they liked what they seen.

The pro day is a tough thing for NFL scouts to assess a player on, given that stars like Cam Newton struggled, and it's not always an indicator of the players talent, nor ability. He completed 61-of-64 passes, and he threw deep on several occasions. With everything going to plan, it seems Manziel has silenced some of his critics, and this should ensure he remains a top-four pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
