Liam Payne 'Fat' on Twitter [PHOTO]: Louis Tomlinson addresses rumors and claims in direct message to fan

One of the most ridiculous rumors to start spreading around Twitter this year was one about One Direction's Liam Payne being fat. It even led some to believe that his recently revealed smoking g habit was caused by it, with speculations of him using the cigarettes as a weight loss strategy. Whatever the case, fans are still reaching out to other One Direction members to show support for Liam and Louis Tomlinson is the first we've seen responding to fans about it.

Now we have some great evidence of Liam's boy band member Louis Tomlinson weighing in on this new controversy.

A fan sent Louis a direct message, to which the Midnight Memories singer responded with a nice statement of admiration for One Direction fans.

"Hey Louis can you please tell Liam to stop listening to all the bullsh** on Twitter and that actual fans aren't saying these things," the Directioner wrote. "None of it's true and I hate that it hurts him."

Louis responded: "Don't worry love we know what to believe and we now you guys support us. You don't realize how much we f***ing love you guys!"
