Ed Sheeran is a musician that knows that image is an important factor for many celebrities, but he isn't too afraid of becoming a "fat slob" since it won't affect his album sales. He explained recently that his looks have nothing to do with how his music reaches his fans. What do you think?

I don't think I've ever sold records based on my looks, which is positive, cos it means that even if I do become a fat slob when I'm older, it won't matter," the 23-year-old singer-songwriter told Q Magazine.

So it turns out Sheeran is a bit humble when it comes to his looks. He's clearly proud about his music though!

This interview also revealed Ed's past experiences, namely his time in Hollywood.

"I'm British so I have to be a gentleman in these situations and not say any names," he said. "But you know what? I spent a year in America and did what any young lad would, which is experience Hollywood life. I think it's the best way to put it..."

Ed also spoke about his new album, x, which was quite the experience for the young artist. He had the pick of the litter when it came to producers this time around and he wanted to make sure he took advantage of it.

"I wanted to take full advantage of the opportunities that were given to me from the doors opened by the American success," Ed explained. "I had all these amazing producers that I wanted to try out."
