Michael Sam's is on top of the world right now.

The football star has just been drafted to the St. Louis Ram's, making history as the first openly gay athlete to be draft.

While Michael may have just added the gay community as his fan base, it looks like he doesn't have a fan in basketball player Marshall Henderson. The former Ole' Miss basketball player is spewing some venom Sam's way after ESPN aired a clip of Sam and his boyfriend sharing a kiss to celebrate the news of being drafted.

"Boycotting sportscenter til this Michael Sam nasty ass sh*t is off. My brothers are 7 and 11 and saw that!!! #SICKENING."

While some people may be shocked by the comment, others who have followed Henderson's career are used to his infamous antics on the court including his taunting of players, fans, and coaches.

This story comes after Miami Dolphins safety Don Jones was fined for tweeting "OMG," and "Horrible" after the kissing footage was aired.

We can only expect Henderson to be fined as well, as he should be.

The basketball star is backtracking on his tweet right now, saying it was all part of a big psychological experiment.

"One of my best friends, WHO IS GAY, is about to graduate in psychology, asked me to say these things so he can have responses. The point of his study was to see how people react when others say things or act a certain way against another group of people. Sorry for messing with everyone like that!!! Everyone really helped my boy AND FOR THAT WE ARE EXTREMELY APPRECIATIVE!!!"

Are you buying the story... because we aren't.

We are getting a little sick of the "one of my best friends is..." line whenever someone is accused of being sexist, racist, or homophobic.

Henderson's Alma Mater, Ole' Miss isn't coming to the defense of its former basketball player either. The college made a statement that shows there lack of support for Henderson.

"I am extremely disappointed and we do not condone the statements made by our former bball player. We believe in respect and dignity for all. We use significant resources to educate our student-athletes about respect and dignity for all people and unfortunately not everyone gets it."
