According to some reports, we can almost confirm that the Millennium Falcon will in fact be featured in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII. Unfortunately, we know this because 71-year-old actor Harrison Ford was injured on the set while filming a scene with the iconic spaceship.

According to a statement released earlier today from Disney, "Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates."

Filming on Episode VII began within the last two months, but this is the first injury to be reported. Sadly it looks like the legendary actor was the first (and hopefully last) victim on set.

Ford is filming alongside fellow Star Wars cast members John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.

A source told The Hollywood Reporter that Ford was actually injured by the Millennium Falcon falling on his ankle. Meanwhile, The Mirror quotes another source telling a different story.

"We were called to Pinewood studios at 5.05pm after reports of a 71-year-old man being injured by a garage door," the insider said.

Either way, Ford is currently in the hospital to take care of his ankle. No news on when he'll return to set, but we certainly hope he gets better quickly in order to get back into the role of Han Solo.
