The 2014 NBA Draft is finally here. On Thursday 26 June 2014, the likes of Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid and of course, Aaron Craft, will finally learn which NBA teams they will spend the beginnings of their career at. This draft class is going to be one of the deepest of all time, meaning that players, like Craft himself, that would without a doubt be a first-round selection, may drop in to the second round. Whilst the beginning of the first round is easier to predict, nobody knows where the likes of Craft will end up.

Whatever happens on Thursday it seems Craft will not give up on his dream. His agent, Lance Young, explained "He 100 percent wants to play. That has been kind of something funny that teams have (asked), and he has even mentioned. But he 100 percent wants to play for the next 10 or 15 years, and medical school and some of those other things can definitely wait."

Whilst it seems unlikely that Craft will be a first-round pick, he will become a valuable asset to the right NBA team, if selected. He is likely to play in Europe if he does not get picked up by an NBA team, but that's unlikely. Many mock drafts do not have Craft being picked, but the talented, quick and dedicated athlete would provide a great young and fresh bench option, and he is certainly not a player to be overlooked.

Does Craft know what to expect? He explained "A lot of teams right now are keeping all their cards close to their heart. They don't want to tip their hand. You come in and work out for an hour, hour and a half, and do everything you can. Then you interview and then you leave. You're not given much feedback.

It's going to be an interesting night on Thursday, and one that will change the lives of the likes of Craft forever.
