Greg Oden & Ravel Morrison: NBA & Premier League Stars In Trouble With Law For Assault & Threats: Miami Heat, Ohio State, Portland Trail Blazers, Manchester United & West Ham

For every kind act an NBA or Premier League soccer star does, there seems to be a fellow professional letting them down. Greg Oden, most recently of the Miami Heat, and Ravel Morrison, of West Ham, are facing trouble with the law for assaulting a woman, and making threats to do so. The pair were tipped to take their respective sports by storm, with Oden leaving Ohio State University for the Portland Trail Blazers, and Morrison once gracing Manchester United, however, both of their careers are in tatters now.

Oden, who was tipped to be the next superstar center, was arrested for battery charges early Thursday, with him allegedly punching his ex-girlfriend in the face at his mother's home. Oden quickly admitted he was wrong, saying "I was wrong and I know what has to happen," Oden, 26, could see his reputation vanish quicker than it did after he retired, but despite his comeback attempt, his behaviour may force another retirement.

Morrison, was a top prospect at United, with many saying he had all of the potential in the world. After incidents he was released, and now he finds himself at West Ham, however, their patience may be running out too. He threatened to throw acid on his ex-girlfriend's face, and said he would order for her to be killed. The prospect is also in trouble for other issues, and it's likely that many of his previous wrong-doings will come back to haunt him during this trial.
