Amid all of the comedians that are paying their respects to the late Robin Williams today, it seems Norm Macdonald has taken it upon himself to do so in a way that is just so "Norm."

The former Saturday Night Live castmember took to Twitter to tell a story about the first time he ever met the legendary performer –– backstage just before his first stand up appearance on David Letterman, where he was scheduled to follow Williams' panel. The Mrs. Doubtfire star, the one Macdonald coins the "funniest man in the world," apparently dropped by the young comic's dressing room and performed a half-hour long bit ... something that left an obvious impression on that "punk kid from rural Ontario."
