'The Order: 1886' Gameplay Trailer, Release Date, Spoilers [VIDEO] Gamescom 2014 Footage Reveals Guns, Monsters & Nicola Tesla [WATCH]

Gamescom 2014 debuted plenty of great new gameplay trailers for a bunch of highly anticipated games, but the new footage revealed for The Order: 1886 definitely has the gaming world excited for the February 10, 2015, release date for PS4 consoles. In the brand new trailer, we get to see that the hype around the guns and other weapons featured in the new game has definitely been warranted; plus we learn how Nicola Tesla works into this story!

As the developers behind The Order: 1886 (Ready At Dawn) explain, Tesla was definitely a genius of his time and for years to come.

"Tesla not only brings with him real-world history but also the genius of his inventions that are the foundation of many of the weapons and devices you will experience in the game, including the Arc Gun and the Thermite Rifle," Readt At Dawn said on the Playstation Blog. "The inclusion of Tesla is a great example of how we have integrated real figures into our fiction to create an original universe.

Going a bit further and mixing fact with fantasy, we learn how Tesla gets involved with this game.

"Having moved to the United States in 1884, Tesla works in the company of some of the most influential people of the time on the New Continent, but the young inventor catches the interest of The Order and is convinced to return to Europe and join the group as their chief scientist," the video game developers stated.
