Fans have been looking forward to the return of NCAA college football for a long time, and it's safe to say week 1 was not a disappointment. With several stars, as usual, fleeing for the NFL, it was time to welcome new stars, and time to love other players as much as you once loved the draftees. Blake Sims, J.T. Barrett, Brett Hundley and Todd Gurley all starred as Braxton Miller watched them on his television, in awe. OSU, UCLA, Georgia and Alabama all take special mentions away from this week 1 round-up.

Ohio State 34-17 Navy

UCLA 28-20 Virginia

Georgia 45-21 Clemson

Alabama 33-23 West Virginia

Sims took over for Alabama, and he led them to a 33-23 victory over West Virginia. Many were unsure as to how he would cope, but he led the team throughout, and he appears to be ready to consistently perform. Another quarterback that raised concerns, was Barrett for the Ohio State Buckeyes, as many were unsure if he could replace the injured Miller. However he got the job done, leading the Buckeyes to a 34-17 victory over Navy.

All eyes are on Hundley and his UCLA, and they scraped a 28-20 victory over Virginia, however, Hundley himself was sensational as he proved his worth as one of America's better quarterbacks, despite constant Virginia pressure. Another star many are watching is Gurley of Georgia, and he had a 100-yard touchdown return as his Georgia beat Clemson 45-21.

Which of these talents will have the best season, and which team are the best on these showings?
