‘Ghostbusters’ Themed Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Exist!

In honor of Ghostbusters 30th anniversary, Krispy Kreme has made special-edition doughnuts that you can actually buy. Yes, your day did just get better.

"We are truly excited to collaborate with Sony Pictures in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic Ghostbusters brand," Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing and Innovations Officer Dwayne Chambers said in a statement on Tuesday.

"And we are delighted to bring our fans two delicious limited edition treats that are as unique, creative and joyful as this beloved film franchise."

There are two different special-edition doughnuts that will be available starting Sept. 29 throughout the U.S. and even in Canada. The first is called Ghostbusters and it's "a marshmallow Kreme-filled shell topped with white icing, a decorative green "splat" inspired by Slimer, and a Ghostbusters logo sugar piece."

The second doughnut is called Stay Puft Marshmallow and is decorated with an adorable hat and jack-o'-lantern looking face. "A marshmallow Kreme-filled shell topped with white icing, decorated with Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's familiar face and a sugar piece hat."

"We are so excited about the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters and our collaboration with Krispy Kreme Donuts as well as the launch of our new Ghostbusters website," Seinor Vice President of Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Greg Economos said.

"Both brands have an incredible legacy with consumers and with exclusive donuts at Krispy Kreme locations and a retail promotion featuring the Blu-ray offering, we are confident everyone's proton packs will be loaded."
