Most Hollywood men must keep in stellar shape to gain roles in top blockbuster flicks. We've ranked and figured out the fitness and diet routines that keep some of Hollywood's most famous men ripped and toned. Keep the ladies swooning, fellas!

3. Mark Walhberg:

When Mark was 41, two years ago, He had movies under his wing like The Fighter and Lone Survivor, both physically challenging roles. So how did he do it? Men's Fitness Editor in Chief Michael De Medeiros found out.

The Transformers actor focused mostly on cardio and nutrition to keep fit — you don't say! He plays a game of basketball at 5:30 a.m. So to be fit you need to be an early riser? Good luck with that. He controls what he eats and has a workout igniter before and a protein shake afterwards. He embraces boxing; he loves doing workouts that are fun. Failure is not an option for Mark. So far Fighter was the hardest movie that he trained for. His faith is what keeps him going and hunger for success drives him. He does a lot of jump squats, split squats and lunges.

2. Jason Statham

The runner-up is a smooth talking, ass kicking, action role smashing Jason Statham. The former model and diver for Britain's National Diving squad knows what it takes to stay fit.

What's his secret? "Prison shape." Wer'e not joking here, this was his motto for his movie Death Race.

To figure out the routine that Jason coins as "prison shape," the actor strolled the yard of California's Corcoran State Prison and took note of how the guys were staying in shape. "They had banned weights from the prison yard," Statham recalls. "They didn't have the big, fat machines you have in the typical gym. These guys were using their own bodies for lifts, pull-ups, sit-ups, and squats. They employed full-body-weight exercises and old-school gym techniques that seemed to work wonders."

For the prison look, body weight exercise are your way to go.

1. Dwayne "The Rock Johnson

They don't call him "The Rock" for nothing. His muscles are out of his world!

The Rock uses a pyramid structure, in which you start with a higher amount of reps and lower amount of weights. Each week the weight and reps increase. After a month you start back at higher reps, however this time around you're conditioned to add on higher weights.

If Johnson can attempt to lift 12 times, he adds more weight.

"...[I] was training six times per week. People from bodybuilding know my coach, George Farah. Training twice a day. Doing cardio in the morning."

Try out his routine for a rock-hard bod!
