Lifetime's soapy drama Devious Maids has officially been picked up for a third season. The drama-filled show, which first premiered in June 2013, will return in spring 2015 with plenty of scandal.

Entertainment Weekly reported: "The Beverly Hills-set class warfare soap has been picked up for another 13 episodes, the network confirmed. Devious Maids returned for its second season last April to about 2 million viewers, on par with the show's first season premiere."

Devious Maids revolves around a group of maids who work for some of the wealthiest families in Beverly Hills. The show stars Ana Ortiz as Marisol Suarez, Dania Ramirez as Rosie Falta, Roselyn Sanchez as Carmen Luna, Edy Ganem as Valentina Diaz and Judy Reyes as Zolia Diaz. The maids bond together over their jobs and the scandals that surround them.

According to the network, the scripted series is the fastest growing Lifetime show in its category. "Its finale last September [season one] garnered three million total viewers, making the episode Lifetime's best drama telecast in 2013," Lifetime wrote. With such a big following, fans everywhere can rejoice now that the series has been picked up for another season.

"We are thrilled to be bringing Devious Maids back for another season," Executive Vice President and General Manager of Lifetime, Rob Sharenow told TV Line. "Marc Cherry has created a uniquely twisted world that blends his comic wit with devilishly ingenious characters and plot twists."

Season two of the mysterious and devious show ended in July, with Nick's confession about Powell's son, Zoila's pregnancy news, Rosie's wedding and a gunshot. Next season will be packed with even more drama and suspense, if you can imagine that.

"We've heard scenarios [from the writers] in which literally everyone is shot — except Rosie, because that wouldn't work well with [the return of her husband]," executive producer Sabrina Wind told TV Line after season two wrapped.
