Ryan Phillippe revealed that he and his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon told their kids all about Cruel Intentions on a recent trip to Central Park in New York City.

The I Know What You Did Last Summer actor sat down with Ricky Camilleri from Huffington Post Live and talked all about his relationship with ex Reese and their two beautiful children Ava, 15, and Deacon, 10. He admits, "[we've] gotten to a really great place."

When Reese was in New York City promoting Gone Girl and Wild, he met up with her and the kids for a great day in Central Park. "We got to meet up as a family and took a walk through Central Park with the kids, and it was funny-we were reminiscing then because we shot a lot of Cruel Intentions [there], so there we were with Ava and Deacon talking, and they were tripping out on the fact that we were there shooting a movie before they were even a thought in our minds," Ryan explained on HuffPost Live.

Even though the couple has been divorced since 2007, Ryan said that the two of them have really grown and figured out how to make it all work. "It's going well, and she's happy and remarried, and our kids are incredible. I'm proud of the way we've handled it and who our little people are," he told Ricky.

Reese isn't the only former Cruel Intentions star that Ryan has seen recently. While promoting Catch Hell on the Today show on Monday, he ran into Joshua Jackson who played Blaine Tuttle on the twisted film. "Randomly, one of your other guests today I made a movie with in 1998," Josh said during his Today interview.

"We were both kids. Now I just met his son, who is closing in on 10. He told me his daughter is in high school now. Yeah, it's amazing," he added.
