Lifetime has officially greenlit another Flowers in the Attic sequel, which marks the fourth film from the book series titled Seeds of Yesterday to premiere on the network.

Seeds of Yesterday is the fourth book from V.C. Andrews' novels to become a film. The first two, Flowers in the Attic, which aired in January 2014, and Petals on the Wind, which aired in May 2014, were both previously made into Lifetime TV movies. The third installment of the books, If There Be Thorns was given the go-ahead last month.

"The saga of the tormented Dollanganger family comes to an end in the fourth and final book in V.C. Andrews' series of novels," Deadline reported.

According to the publication, Rachael Carpani (Cathy Dollanganger) and Sex and the City's Jason Lewis (Christopher Dollanganger) will reprise their roles from the upcoming film, If There Be Thorns, in the fourth movie. Big Time Rush actor James Maslow will play Bart Dollanganger in the upcoming films.

"Seeds of Yesterday takes place 15 years after the events of the upcoming third film, If There Be Thorns. Cathy and Chris are now middle-aged and their children are young adults, but they'll discover once again how difficult it is to escape their family's sordid legacy," The Wrap reported.

If There Be Thorns, on the other hand, "follows Christopher and Cathy Dollanganger as they live together as man and wife in California with Cathy's two sons, who are unaware of the nature of their parents' relationship," Deadline revealed.

The third installment will be directed by Nancy Savoca and the fourth will be directed by Shawn Ku. Dan Angel and Jane Startz will be executive producers on both films and Joceyln Fried will join the executive producer team for Seeds of Yesterday.

If There Be Thorns will be written by Andrew Cochran and Darren Stein will write Seeds of Yesterday. Both films are slated for a 2015 release.
