Once Upon a Time's Julian Morris is coming to New Girl this week as Jessica Day's (played by Zooey Deschanel) new love interest. Julian revealed what his character Ryan's relationship with Jess is going to be like this season.

New Girl returns tonight for an all-new episode and this week, Jess is finally finding romance again since her breakup with Nick last season. Now that Jess is the Vice Principal, her attraction to science teacher Ryan, is taboo, but that doesn't mean she won't break the rules for love.

"He instantly has this attraction towards Jess. And Jess, as much as she tries to suppress it, begins to fall for him," Julian exclusively told TV Line. "However, the problem is that she's now vice principal, and he's a lowly science teacher, and he can't do anything about it."

The Pretty Little Liars alum revealed that although Jess manages to suppress her feelings for Ryan in the beginning, she will give in. The 31-year-old actor also shared his favorite scene that didn't make the cut.

"It was a volcano scene. It's Jess and I teaching together – it was actually my audition scene. We have to make a volcano explode. Of course, it doesn't work, and then we end up together, and it's just a metaphor for us having sex. [Laughs] It was so much fun to shoot. It was such a good time," the Cry_Wolf actor explained.

Jess isn't the only character that is going to interact with Ryan this season. With a multiple episode arc, Julian's character will be seen throughout season four of New Girl and during that time he will bond with Coach, since he also works at Jess's school.

"In my third episode, I will [interact with the roommates]. In the episode we just shot – we wrapped at 1 this morning, my voice is a little bit croaky – I can reveal that Coach and I were swimming together. In fact, he was in my arms, fully clothed, in the pool. [laughs] It was an amazing moment. He's one of the nicest guys, and hilarious," Julian told the publication.

"This next episode, we end up at a teacher's conference. It just so happens that we end up in rooms next to each other. And it just so happens that we raid the minibar and get drunk," he added.

Tune in tonight on FOX to see how Jess deals with Ryan's arrival!
