‘Once Upon A Time’ Cast Teases Emma And Hook’s First Date And How Mary And David Respond

Once Upon a Time Season 4 is underway, and this Sunday's episode is going to be one for the books. This week's episode will finally show Emma Swan and Captain Hook's first date, and it's going to be magical. The Once cast reveals what happens on Emma and Hook's romantic date and how everyone reacts — especially Emma's parents Mary and David — in this week's all-new episode.

"We actually have a great date. There are a lot of fun elements to it, because we're seeing both of them so vulnerable with each other. Emma's genuinely excited about getting to know this person, hopefully outside of crisis," Jennifer Morrison, who plays Emma, told reporters Tuesday, Oct. 14, on set in Vancouver via TV Line.

So what does the duo wear to impress each other on their romantic night out?

Emma opted for a feminine look, which is different from her usual jeans and leather jacket ensemble. Hook, on the other hand, tried to look less like a pirate and more like a modern man.

"She's wearing something that's very soft and feminine and romantic. That's something that I think has always been a part of her, but she's always had to have her guard up so much that she hasn't felt like she could express that side of herself," the 35-year-old actress told the reporters.

"It took a man who wears leather and a hook to bring out the feminine side in her," Colin O'Donoghue, who plays Hook, said.

As for Hook's outfit, Jennifer described it as, "He figures out how to dress like a real person. A leathery, real person."

The cast also revealed that Snow White and Prince Charming, aka Emma's parents Mary and David, can't wait to play the parent role and hear all about her date.

"[David] doesn't want to know, like, everything, but he waits up ... [Mary Margaret] just wants Emma to be happy, and ultimately that's what [David] wants for her, too," Josh Dallas, who plays David/Prince Charming, told reporters on set.
