Peyton Manning wants to be considered the greatest QB in NFL history, and last night he delivered a record that all but guarantees him that recognition. The star replaced Brett Favre as the all-time TD leader, and he received praise from superstars across the world. The Denver Broncos star delivered a masterclass performance in their win over the San Francisco 49ers. NBA superstar Kevin Durant, MLB slugger Jason Kipnis, and NFL legends, Dan Marino, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Dungy and even Favre himself, all praised the "living legend."

A few years ago many labelled Manning "done" with the NFL, and unable to continue playing, let alone able to achieve greatness. He silenced the doubters in stunning fashion, arguably placing himself as the greatest QB to ever grace the game. Was Favre bitter about being replaced? Apparently not.

The man he replaced, insisted: "The most important thing about this record is it's not accomplished unless you play a long time. It's hard to play physically, but it's hard to be good every week. I know what the expectations were like for me, I can't imagine what it's like for Peyton. There comes a point when you look in the mirror and go, you know what? I can't live up to the expectations that I've put upon myself. That's what happened to me. People expect me to play great every time, but I expected to play greater. It's hard. That's what so impressive about Peyton."

Manning's current day rival, Brady, congratulated him, saying, "Congratulations, Peyton, on your touchdown record, a great achievement. We'll see you in a few weeks." Even basketball superstar, Durant, took the time to tweet, "Congrats to the great Peyton Manning! We take him for granted because he's so consistent but we are witnessing a living legend!"

It seems as if we're witnessing the greatest QB ever, and it seems that everyone loves the record-setting Peyton.
