Bones is currently in its 10th season and its still churning out new and interesting storylines every week. With its 200th episode on the horizon, the episode's premise has finally been revealed –– it will be an ode to Alfred Hitchcock!

TV Line exclusively learned that Bones would be commemorating its 200th episode with an Alfred Hitchcock-inspired episode. David Boeranaz, who plays Seeley Booth in the series, will direct the episode.

"It's not an alternate reality, it's as if Booth and Brennan existed in this world - would they still get together? Everyone is sort of playing their own characters," executive producer Stephen Nathan exclusively told TV Line. Stephen also penned the episode, which is titled "The 200th in the 10th."

"It's going to be a huge episode. There are vintage cars, different sets and all those old processed shots they did in the 50s. It's going to be a Technicolor spectacular," Stephen explained.

The landmark episode will air Thursday, Dec. 11 on FOX.

When Bones ended its ninth season last year a lot of things were left up in the air. Before the 10th season began (on Sept. 25), Zap2It revealed what the next season would feature.

"Booth will be in a terribly difficult situation and he has to face tremendous legal and career problems," executive producer Jonathan Collier told Zap2It. "He also has to deal with the burden of being vilified by the FBI – an organization which he's served with honor and integrity for years ... He's always had enormous faith in our government and our system. All that will be challenged."

As for the main characters of Seeley Booth and Temperance 'Bones' Brennan (played by Emily Deschanel), they will stay together, which is a load off fans' minds this season. "One thing that everyone at Bones assures fans will be true: Booth and Brennan are together for the long haul. Whatever stresses they experience, they'll do so together," Zap2It reported.
