Kevin Durant isn't on the cover of NBA 2K15 for no reason. The Oklahoma City Thunder star is without a doubt one of the most loved individuals in the entire NBA, so evidently basketball fans were deeply upset when they learned that he will be out for the remainder of 2014. However, the star is in good spirits. He has discussed how he feels like Alabama coach Nick Saban, how he believes he and Russell Westbrook can still guide the Thunder to an NBA title. But he's currently enduring an underwear war with Westbrook.

Durant insisted OKC will be fine, no matter how strange the sideline experience, saying, "It's definitely a different experience for me. I've never been injured before, but the Thunder's been great to get me to the best surgeon, and rehab has been going well so far. Everything is progressing, and I'm looking forward to these next few weeks of getting better."

He went on to make the bizarre comparison between himself and Saban, saying, "I feel like Nick Saban, just rolling around in my scooter from court to court giving advice and trying to help out as much as I can. I'm looking at the positive side of it. It's a win-win, basically, because I'm learning a lot while I'm out about the game, and my teammates are getting lots of opportunities because there are a lot of minutes out there to help the team."

Although Durant and Westbrook are best friends, and teammates, they are now sponsoring rival underwear companies, however, Durant believes OKC will be fine without him, with Westbrook stepping his game up. He concluded: "Nothing has to change. Just stay who he is and continue to play the way he plays, and everybody is going to follow. He's going to do a great job. I'm not worried about Russ. [He] may get more opportunities now, but you don't have to change what you do. He knows that. He's a smart player. He knows we all have to do it as a team, and it's going to be fun. I'm excited to see the team play."

Will their underwear battle cause a rift, and can the Thunder survive without KD?
