Disney's Frozen ranks as the highest-grossing animated film of all time. With so much success, it's no wonder Google Trends reports the Snow Queen as this year's most-searched costume, followed by her co-star Olaf.

If you're planning to dress up as Elsa for Halloween, you're probably going to run into a bunch of other people in the same costume. But before you ditch the idea for something less popular, Fashionista advises to put in some extra effort to make yourself the best Elsa in town. Below are two of the best YouTube tutorials out there to help you transform into the Snow Queen; one for makeup and one for that fabulous side-braid!

The makeup tutorial video comes from G Diipa. In the video clip, most of the products G Diipa uses are by Make Up For Ever, but you can use different brands as long as the colors are similar.

First, G Diipa applies a lavendar shade of eyeshadow to her lids. Accentuate the lavendar with a soft pink color around the outer edge of lid. Blend until the colors become seamless. Apply the lavendar color to the bottom lash line for a dreamy effect. Apply silver glitter to the inner corner of the eye, then line the eyes with black liquid liner. Curl lashes and apply mascara. Line lower water line with white liner to brighten the eyes. Apply false lashes for extra length, and there you have it! A gorgeous face, reminiscent of Frozen's Snow Queen, Elsa.

As for the hair, YouTuber Luxy Hair gives her pointers on creating a voluminous, loose, side-braid. Luxy Hair recommends wearing extensions if your hair is not long enough for this look.

First, she begins by teasing the hair at the top of the crown for added volume. French-braid the hair from top to bottom, flipping the braid over to one side when it's complete. Secure the tip with a small hair tie.
