"Soprano" Star Jamie-Lynn Sigler's Brother Dies After Brain Hemorrhage

Former "Sopranos" star Jamie-Lynn Sigler is dealing with some devastating news today as her older brother Adam passed away from a brain hemorrhage on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

A source tells Us Weekly that her brother was in a coma before his death and passed away with his family near his side.

Celebrity friends have been tweeting about the incident as well.

"She loved him dearly and will miss him more than anyone can ever imagine. The family was with him every second he was in a coma and was surrounded by his entire family when he passed," the site reported. "Adam was always so happy and inspired Jamie to be a better person every day."

Another insider tells Us Weekly that the brain hemorrhage was abrupt and had no apparent cause, Adam's health didn't point towards a brain hemorrhage. Adam leaves behind a fiancé as sources tell Us that, "he was engaged, "

According to Web MD a brain hemorrhage can have many causes such as head trauma, high blood pressure, liver disease and brain tumors. Symptoms of brain hemorrhages can include a sudden severe headache, weakness in an arm or leg, nausea or vomiting, changes in vision and difficulty writing or reading. The cause of Sigler's brothers hemorrhage is unknown at the moment. Sigler and her two older brothers, Brian and Adam were born in Jericho, New York to Steve and Connie Sigler.

Adam was a stockbroker and the eldest of his two siblings. "He was such a funny, amazing man. He was an incredible uncle who was loved by all his friends and family. He will be greatly missed."
