Navy Seals are hot just on their own, but mix in a hunky celebrity like Bradley Cooper and you've got some serious swooning ladies!

Cooper's upcoming film, American Sniper, is based on the real-life book by the same name about SEAL Chris Kyle - who is considered the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history. Cooper has gotten in ripped shape for the role.

"[He] had a strict, crazy diet," revealed writer-producer for the film Jason Hall. (via People) "He was eating about every 55 minutes or something like that, and I want to say it was about 8,000 calories a day."

Yikes!

The limited released date for the Navy Seal autobiography is set for Christmas 2014. Sienna Miller plays Cooper's wife in the film, which is produced by Clint Eastwood. Cooper also lends a hand in the producing realm of the movie.

"Bradley used his own trainer, who was busting on him. I think he was working out for hours a day for several months," said Hall. "He was determined to do it naturally, he didn't want to use any hormones or steroids or anything. He was just very systematic about it and took his trainer with him wherever he went."

As Mstars News reported, Kyle died tragically in 2013 after being fatally shot at a shooting range. The film focuses on his #1 New York Times Bestseller book about his remarkable career - officially killing 150, making Kyle the record-holding sniper in U.S. military history.

Regarding Cooper's skills as a sniper, "He actually proved himself to be really good," Hall said. "The second day, in the morning, he went out there and was consistently hitting 800-yeard targets the size of a teacup. So he took it pretty quickly."
