Aaron Sorkin's political drama, The Newsroom, returns to HBO for  Season 3. For its final season, anchor Will MacAvoy (Jeff Daniels) has to cover breaking news on camera, while facing internal struggle within his team in as Neal (Dev Patel) has to learn how to 'Run.'

At a shooting range, MacKenzie McHale (Emily Mortimer) talks to her friend, an FBI Agent, about Neal's predicament. Neal (Dev Patel) won't go to jail for very long, not as long as he doesn't go public with the incriminating files he received. Though his career may be tarnished, the punishment won't be as dire as they think.

Unfortunately, lawyer Rebecca Halliday (Marcia Gay Harden) has a different story to tell Neal. If Neal doesn't give up his source, there will be severe penalties he must face. The heated argument the becomes about whether or not the ACN news team should reveal the leaks on the air.

While on the train, Maggie (Alison Pill) overhears a great scoop about the EPA, hides, and starts recording. After arguing about journalistic integrity, Maggie decides to not run the story. Her informant tries to bribe her with a better scoop, but in the end, he decides to go on-the-record to discuss how climate change is ruining the planet.

Jim (John Gallagher Jr.) has to fire his girlfriend Hallie Shea (Grace Gummer) because of an offensive tweet she sent out on Will's official Twitter. Soon other news outlets are reporting on the same tweet that Will supposedly wrote to mock the Republican party and guns. When Charlie (Sam Waterston) hears she did it for the retweets, he takes the job away from her.

Sloan (Olivia Munn) and Don (Thomas Sadoski) are having an argument trying to figure where their relationship stands.Their conversation, stemming from a fake invitation to meet the parents, leads to a awkward discussion about sex, in front of Jim. Don and Sloan make up after getting out of the elevator.

Reese argues with his step sister, Blair (Kat Dennings), about the hostile takeover, but she won't budge. She still intends on selling the company, just to spite him. Leona (Jane Fonda) drops in and steps into negotiations, promising money that she doesn't even have.

Neal and Will have a talk outside the conference, telling him to hide. Neal thinks Will is joking, but he's not. Will tells the intern to grab a menu and send it to his office when the FBI arrives. At that moment, Will writes something on the menu and gives it back to the intern.

McKenzie's friend, the FBI agent, reveals Neal's source is a terrorist they have been hunting down. This is one of the bad guys they're after. If Neal doesn't give up his source, he will go to jail.

While the FBI are raiding the ACN offices, Neal is already on the outside, getting a head start. He has the menu that Will gave to the intern and starts to burn it. The menu has a message for him, telling him to "run."

Things are getting worse for Neal on The Newsroom. Readers, what did you think of Run?
