This week in casting news, Disney Channel star Bridgit Mendler has been added to NBC's Undateable cast. Plus, Chloe Bridges is set to guest star on MTV's Faking It.

TV Line exclusively reported that Bridgit, the Good Luck Charlie actress, will be joining the cast of Undateable as a series regular on Tuesday. The NBC comedy will be starting its second season in 2015. Bridgit will be playing a new waitress at the bar. "She manages to stand tall even when Detroit knocks her down," TV Line reported.

Undateable's cast includes Chris D'Elia as Danny, Brent Morin as Justin, Bianca Kajlich as Leslie, Ron Funches as Shelly, David Fynn as Brett, Rick Glassman as Burski and Eva Amurri Martino as Sabrina. The show follows Danny and his group of "undateable" friends as they try and figure out the dating world while frequently hanging out at Black Eyes Bar.

In other casting news, The Carrie Diaries alum Chole Bridges, is joining Faking It in 2015 as a guest star. Chloe will play Zita Cruz, who is a socialite that becomes friends with Liam and will eventually comes between Liam and Karma's already complicated relationship.

"Zita will first appear sometime in 2015, and my gut tells me we shouldn't expect Karma and Amy to invite her to their next slumber party - though Liam's bed is possibly open for business," TV Line reported.

Faking It, which is currently in its sophomore season, stars Rita Volk as Amy Raudenfeld, Katie Stevens as Karma Ashcroft, Gregg Sulkin as Liam Booker, Michael J. Willett as Shane and Bailey De Young as Lauren. The series is about Amy and Karma, who pretend to be lesbians to get noticed at school and it works. Too bad high school drama and secrets have a way of coming out.

Faking It's season two midseason finale airs tonight on MTV following the season four finale of Awkward.
