MTV's hit comedy series, Faking It, has officially added 10 more episodes to its second season. Deadline reported that the hilarious comedy added the additional episodes to its current season, only four episodes into season two.

The 10-episode pickup will give Faking It season two 20 total episodes. Faking It is currently in its sophomore season with new episodes airing every Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. The romantic comedy-style series is based on best friends Amy (played by Rita Volk) and Karma (played by Katie Stevens). In order to be noticed in high school the best friends pretend to be lesbians, but a get into an even bigger problem when Amy actually falls for Karma.

Now that Faking It will have even more drama-filled episodes, Volk and Michael Willett (who plays Shane Harvey) are sharing some upcoming plot twists to look forward to during the rest of season two.

"Amy can't keep it in for that long, and Liam — even though he's known as a player and a liar and a cheat — is actually a pretty good guy," Volk told TV Line about the "inevitable" sex secret from season one coming out. "So it's bound to come out, and it's not going to be pretty ... Everyone gets screwed over and hurt."

In happier news, there will be a few new love interests this season to distract from the betrayal of Amy sleeping with Liam behind Karma's back. Amy will see if her brief encounter with the cater-girl from Liam's party can turn into something more, while Shane will be attached to Duke (played by Skylar Maxon), who will enter the picture this week.

"I really like [the idea of] Shane and Duke as a couple. But we'll have to see where that goes. I don't even know the final outcome; the way it all turns out, you don't quite know what happens," Willett told the publication.

"Faking It currently averages almost 800,000 viewers same-night, increasing to over 1.2 million in L+7, which places it third in MTV's lineup," Variety reported. Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov created the series. The executive producer on the show is Carter Covington.

Faking It's midseason finale is scheduled for November 25.
