January is going to be a big month for Amy Poehler. In addition to hosting the Golden Globes with Saturday Night Live pal Tina Fey Jan. 11, Amy's hit comedy Parks and Recreation will be returning for its final season the same week.

The creators of the NBC comedy announced that the series would be returning for its seventh and final season Tuesday, Jan. 13. The network also announced that Parks and Rec would say its final farewell Feb. 24, so mark your calendars!

"Mike Schur and Amy Poehler, along with their incredible producers, cast and crew, have given us one of the great television comedies of all time, and we're inordinately proud of Parks and Recreation," NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said in a statement via TV Line.

"In an effort to give it the send-off it deserves, we wanted to 'eventize' the final season to maximize the impact of these episodes, which really do take the show to a new level. The highly anticipated one-hour finale will air behind The Voice in order to lead the largest audience possible into what promises to be a very special hour of television."

In honor of the end the Pawnee's parks and recreation department this winter, TV Line sat down with some of our favorite cast members and asked them what their dream ending would be ... and all their answers are awesome.

Nick Offerman, who plays Ron Swanson on the series, described his dream finale as, "Death by grizzly bear. I'd like to provide a hearty meal for one of nature's champions in the circle of life."

Aziz Ansari, who plays the hilarious Tom Haverford, had a more idealistic scenario in mind.

"I feel like what would make Tom really happy is flying on a private jet, like, one time. [Laughs] And he gets on the jet and takes a 15-minute flight and they're like, 'All right, so ... that's it?' And he's like, 'Yeah!'" Aziz told TV Line last month.

Along the same line as Aziz, is Retta, who plays Donna Meagle.

"I want Donna to have a private island. I want her to somehow get the status where she has an island and the only people that work on it are very buff men handling all her business. And she flies in her men," she told the publication.
