Justin Bieber and Rob Gronkowski added some star power to the Los Angeles Clippers's locker room last night, Dec. 1, with the pair hanging out and joking around with Clippers superstars Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul in L.A. after an impressive win. But does that mean the Pats's NFL season is sunk?

The pop superstar — who has attended numerous Clippers games this year, what with the L.A. Lakers being terrible, and the star New England Patriots tight end, along with some of his other Pats teammates, including running back Jonas Gray — headed to the Staples Center locker room after the Clippers's 127-101 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves to celebrate and take photos with Clips players.

As ESPN reported, Gronkowski and his teammates — who lost to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 26-21 over the weekend — were "taking advantage of some time off in California" before the Patriots take on the San Diego Chargers this Sunday.

You can check out Gronk and Biebs in the vine below:

And Biebs and Kia spokesman/Clipper power forward Blake Griffin had a "heart to heart":

The best part is that it was all instigated by former Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers, who wanted to show the Dallas Cowboys fans in the Clippers locker room "what a football team looks like."

Jonas Gray seemed pretty excited by the entire experience:

Because he got to hang out with Jamal Crawford? Sure.

But as both USA Today and CBS point out, this seemingly incongruous locker room hang-out may have doomed the Pats's season. After Justin Bieber crashed a Pittsburgh Steelers, Saturday-night, Bible-study meeting ahead of the Steelers's Nov. 9 game against the New York Jets, the then-6-3 Steelers lost to the then-1-8 Jets ... and have since lost two of their three past games. The Steelers were the hottest team in the NFL at the time, with Ben Roethlisberger having thrown 12 touchdowns in the two games prior to running into the Bieber brick wall.

Who knows? Perhaps it could have the opposite effect for poor Jonas Gray, who still finds himself in Pats coach Bill Belichick's doghouse two weeks removed from the running back's four-touchdown, 200-yard game against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts. (You have to feel for those fantasy players who then scrambled to pick him up and start him over the past two games have been rewarded with zero points.)

If nothing else, hopefully this a) doesn't send the Pats's season careening off the rails and b) gives a studio exec the brilliant idea of teaming Gronk and Biebs up in a buddy cop movie, ending up with a mashup between Lethal Weapon and Twins.

Now that's something to get behind.
