This week's all-new episode of New Girl was jam-packed with funny one-liners and a lot of firsts. "Girl Fight" revolved around Jess and Cece and their 20-year friendship.

The episode begins with Cece and Jess planning Nadia's (their model friend) baby shower when Schmidt and Coach get into a fight about the DVR. In order to resolve their issues, Coach simply punches Schmidt and everything is good. After seeing this odd way to deal with issues, the girls laugh and say that they never get into fights, expect recently when they fought over the same purse.

After complimenting one another at the store they decided to leave the purse behind and neither one purchased it. Unfortunately, Schmidt remembers seeing the purse in Jess's closet, which leads to a passive aggressive discussion between Cece and Jess before Cece leaves the loft in a bad mood.

Schmidt has no idea what just happened, but Coach reveals that they just witnessed a girl fight. Jess admits that she does have the purse, but in order to maintain her friendship with Cece, she is going to pretend like nothing happened and then three days later she will bring her a latte and they will be friends again. Schmidt however, cannot follow the rules set by Jess and decides to meddle.

Meanwhile Nick goes on his first date with Tran's pretty granddaughter and it is completely awkward. Both Nick and his date recognize that they are weird, talk about porn and then decide to just go sit on his couch instead of staying out at dinner. Three days later they are still hanging out together in their sweat pants and it is adorable, but it concerns Winston, who has been watching them in order to put off studying for his police exam.

After Winston does some research he determines that Nick's new girlfriend has to be homeless. She eats like she doesn't know where her next meal is coming from, she never leaves to go to work and she fell asleep in Nick's bed with newspapers as a blanket. Very interesting!

In a switch back to Jess, she goes to see Cece three days after their undercover fight and when she offers her the latte of peace, Cece shows Jess that she now has the yellow purse! Schmidt stole it from Jess's room and gave it to Cece because he has no power when it comes to her.

When Jess talks to Schmidt about it, she is super pissed off at the situation. Now that she hasn't made up with Cece, she has no idea how to proceed. Just then Cece starts an emoji fight with her, which includes one of them sending a slice of cake and a turtle emoji followed by the double syringe, which outrages Jess.

Later that day Jess storms over to Cece's place where she is hosting the baby shower and things get crazy. As Schmidt watches from the living room he decides to call Coach for backup, because Coach grew up with sisters and understands women. As Cece and Jess stare each other down, Schmidt starts to get scared.

In a switch back to Nick he confronts his date about her living situation and tells her that he really likes her and he wants to see where she lives no matter where it is. At first she tries to change the subject but she finally gives in. When Nick gets to her place he learns that she is actually rich, which is the exact opposite situation that Winston predicted.

Nick is so happy that she isn't homeless which is so adorable. When he has to leave to go to work she decides to pay him to stay with her and he quickly embraces the idea of being like a male prostitute. They might be an odd pair, but it nice to see Nick happy again.

Back to Cece and Jess the two best friends start to cry during their fight, which has now unearthed years of passive aggressive moments they previously shoved aside. When Coach arrives at the party he tells them to fight it out like men do and Cece listens and lunges at Jess. Jess retaliates by putting a breast pump on Cece's eyes as the rest of the baby shower women start fighting.

Both of the girls end up in the hospital with black eyes, but the fighting actually worked and they are back to being friends. When they go to leave the hospital, they tell Schmidt and Coach that if they fought like girls they would still be mad about a lot of things, which ends up making the boys start a passive aggressive argument.

The next day Winston cannot take their annoying compliments to one another so he punches them both and they get over their fight. To end the episode Winston tries to force himself to study for the test and it is awesome.
