"New Girl" returned with a new episode last night, and it was awesome. "Background Check" revolves around a police check and Jessica Day's misperception of meth. The episode begins with Schmidt discovering that Cece went on a date with a guy named Paul. He's obviously weird about it, but his craziness is cut short when Winston tells the loft that a sergeant from the police academy is coming over for an at-home background check. After bonding over how great a trip to the shopping outlets would be on a weekend afternoon, the boys end up agreeing to the background check to help Winston. Oddly, Jess starts to panic and tells Nick, Schmidt and Coach that she has a bag of meth in her closet! Why does she have the giant bag of meth? She got it at a yard sale ... obviously. Read More »
