It seems like no one is safe from rapper Azealia Banks' vitriol, with people who don't eat animal products coming under attack from the controversial hip hop star. Banks launched into a bizarre and typically bracing rant against vegans on her official twitter, with the "212" singer telling people who "wear paper shoes and rub lemons on their armpits" to "GO AWAY!" Whether this new "beef" was in response to vegans being a particular vocal group among people not buying her finally-released debut album Broke With Expensive Taste, or for some other reason, was unclear. Either way, it was highly entertaining, and somewhat confusing.

As People points out, Banks copped some criticism from followers, with one follower named Leoni arguing "Of course not, and you don't need to. But maybe some compassion with the poor animals is good huh?"

She eventually backed away, saying she was simply trolling, and that people ought not take her, or themselves, so seriously.

It comes after two other recent beefs, her ill-advised attack on gay men, and then as Mstars News reported, last week Azealia Banks went after Iggy Azalea for not being more outspoken, tweeting out "Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren't huh? If you're down to ride with us bitch you gotta RIDE ALL THE WAY. Don't just be down to ride Black D--k... "

Iggy responded by saying "Theres more to sparking a change than trolling on social media. World issues shouldn't be used as a poor excuse to promote fan battles..."

What do you think — is Azealia Banks right to say that Twitter is there to troll and have fun on? Or should she be more circumspect about her targets?
