It may be Idris Elba's lucky day, as leaked emails show Sony Pictures Entertainment Co-Chairwoman Amy Pascal revealing that she wants Elba to be the next 007.

According to The Daily Beast, a lot of Sony emails have mentioned the James Bond franchise, including the next film to come, Spectre, scheduled to be released Nov. 6, 2015.

The site claims the leaked emails also include a leaked script, sharing the film's budget of $300 million and Blofeld as the villain.

If you are a fan of the hit movie, then you know that rumor has it Elba may be up to play the next James Bond in its 24th film.

If Elba is to play Bond, he will also make history by becoming the first black 007.

Daniel Craig even noted that he wanted to leave his position as Bond. He previously told Rolling Stone in 2012, "I've been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it. But they won't let me go, and I've agreed to do a couple more, but let's see how this one does, because business is business and if the s--t goes down, I've got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their ass with."

The actor is signed on for just one more Bond thriller after Spectre.

The Sony emails have been getting a lot of media reports as more stories surface, including the email exchange between Pascal and film producer Scott Rudin.

The two sent racial jokes about President Barack Obama, Kevin Hart and movies that features multiple African-American actors.

During Obama's end-of-year press conference last week, Obama replied to a question about the Sony hacked emails.

Sony has decided to cancel the controversial film, but is back on the market to be released in theaters Christmas Day, The Interview, as Obama commented on the most talked-about Sony hacked conspiracy.

"[Sony] suffered significant damage, there were threats against some employees. I am sympathetic to the concerns that they faced," Obama said during the conference. "Having said all that, yes, I think they made a mistake."
