Josh Gordon, Cleveland Browns wide receiver, budding NFL superstar and Johnny Manziel BFF's career could be over, as he faces a one-year ban for failing another drug test. The 23 year old star receiver already served a ten-match ban last season for failing a drug test, and was also suspended for the final game of the season for violating team rules (following an alleged party with Manziel). Is his NFL career over?

ESPN Insider Adam Schefter reported the news, tweeting out that "Browns WR Josh Gordon flunked another drug test and now will be subject to a one-year banishment, per league sources. More on ESPN @ 6 pm."

NBC's Pro Football Talk confirmed the suspension and added that is was for alcohol, tweeting out: "Josh Gordon is facing one-year suspension. Per source, Gordon tested positive for alcohol."

Schefter then confirmed the alcohol report:

As SB Nation's Jeff Gray explains, the one year ban will stem from his entering the NFL's substance abuse program, and "Gordon was prohibited from consuming alcohol" after "pleading guilty to a DUI charge in September of 2014. NFL regulations mandate that such a violation results in a one-year ban from team activities, including workouts and games."

Grey adds, "Given his repeated violations, Gordon's future in Cleveland -- and the NFL in general -- is uncertain."

BustedCoverage, meanwhile, are saying that Johnny Manziel is partly to blame for Gordon's career potentially being over.

As ESPN report, the Browns released as statement on Gordon's violation, saying: "Clearly we are very disappointed to hear the latest report regarding Josh.

"At this point, due to the confidential nature of the NFL's substance-abuse policy, we have not been made aware by the league of a failed test. We are in the process of gathering more information and will provide further comment at the appropriate time."

The Bleacher Report's Jason Cole says that people close to Gordon are concerned that Gordon "doesn't love football enough" and "is ultimately not going to make much out of his career." Watch what he has to say below:

Retired NBA legend Charles Barkley -- whose brother died aged 42 from abuse -- has added that Groton needs to change his ways or he could end up dead.

As Sporting News report, Barkley told His & Hers, saying "This is very personal to me. I have a brother who's dead ... Josh Gordon is going to die if he keeps going on this road he's going."

Meanwhile cleveland.com's Tom Reed says "It's time to release the former All Pro and send a message to other young players."

What do you think? Should Cleveland cut Gordon? Or give him another chance?
