The news surrounding director Danny Boyle and writer Aaron Sorkin's Steve Jobs biopic movie project has been pretty bleak over the last few months, but today we have some great first look photos from the film's set! That's right; despite having a number of big name directors and actors drop out of the project throughout 2014, it looks like an early 2015 filming schedule is underway with new star Michael Fassbender certainly looking the part of the late, iconic Apple cofounder. Take a look for yourself below!

According to Slash Film, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston, and Michael Stuhlbarg also star in this high-profile film.

These first look photos of the film set are admittedly not too great, but they do give us an okay glimpse at Fassbender as Jobs and we get to see some portions of the set as well.

So bear with us when examining these photos below, courtesy of lucky onlookers in San Francisco:

 

Obviously blurry, this first photo definitely shows Fassbender with longer Jobs hair and glasses, outside of a restaurant. Here is a wider shot of the scene that Fassbender and the crew were filming this week:

Also, here is a photo of Winslet in character as Joanna Hoffman, the former marketing chief of Macintosh:

Yes, this is another bad photo, so we'll have to wait a bit longer for official images of the film.
