Super Bowl XLIX pit the Seattle Seahawks against the New England Patriots from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, but an estimated 25% of the viewing audience for this year's big game tuned in just to see the commercials aired throughout Super Bowl 49.

Now that the commercials have aired, we thought we'd take a look at some of the best spots aired tonight. There were plenty from which to choose, but here are a few highlights.

Wix's #ItsThatEasy

Wix is a website-building tool that allows customers to create and build their own sites from scratch. The company's Super Bowl ad was simple but effective, as it brought in five former NFL players, including a few all-time greats, to help sell the product. We start with Rex Lee, most famous for playing Lloyd on Entourage, advising Brett Favre to give up on a football comeback and start his own business.

From there, we see Favre and the rest of the players building their own sites and starting their business. We get Terrell Owens' Humble Pies, Emmitt Smith's country bar, Larry Allen's towing company (in which he tows the cars himself), Franco Harris' Immaculate Wedding Receptions, and Brett Favre's deli. Its a humorous but straightforward ad that works on multiple levels.

BMW's "Newfangled Idea"

The idea of an electric car is odd to some people, so BMW took a clever route in trying to sell its new i3. The commercial begins with a real clip of Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric from a news broadcast in 1994 in which two of the nation's top journalists did not comprehend the Internet. We watch as the younger versions struggle to decipher the @ symbol and ask "What is Internet, anyway?"

Fast forward to 2015, and Gumbel and Couric are in the BMW talking about BMW's new electric car. The point? Sometimes "big ideas take a little getting used to."

Carl's Jr.'s "All Natural"

There's a time for advertisers to throw sexy women in front of our eyes, and the Super Bowl is one of those times. But the Carl's Jr. ad with the gorgeous Charlotte McKinney doesn't just give us a beautiful woman and nothing more. It also cleverly informs us that the chain has introduced the first all-natural burger in fast food.
