Get ready to light up the sky like a firework because Katy Perry is pulling out all the stops for her 2015 Super Bowl halftime performance. The colorful songstress will be taking the stage during tonight's game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. It is being rumored that Perry is bringing along with her some special guests for what we are sure is going to be one of the most Prismatic Super Bowl performances in history. There has even been some talk that the "Dark Horse" beauty will be including her ex-boyfriend John Mayer in her concert.

The two have been getting pretty close with each other since the start of the New Year, but does the recoupling mean Katy will be bringing John onstage with her for the halftime show?

Well, according to Radar Online, Perry has been trying to convince Mayer to join her for a special Super Bowl collab.

"Katy is definitely bringing John with her on Sunday and there were talks that the couple would do a duet," an insider revealed to the news site. "It was her idea. Katy has really [been] trying to push for him coming on stage. She still is."

But it looks like Mayer's current health situation could keep him from joining his on-again/off-again girlfriend for the blowout performance.

"John was simply not into it," the insider revealed. "He said that he was having some vocal issues related to his throat condition."

While John might not be making an appearance during the spectacle, it was confirmed by ABC News that Katy will get some help from rock 'n' roll veteran Lenny Kravitz as well as a surprise performer whom Perry refers to as a "throwback."

We can't wait to see what Perry brings to her performance tonight during the star-studded game.
