How are you supposed to get over an ex when you are constantly hearing their songs play on the radio? Well Nick Cannon faced this really tough reality when he was attending a charity bowling event and the DJ was playing some of his ex-wife, Mariah Carey's songs. Nick and Mariah called things off last summer but it seems that while Cannon might be over the marriage, he can't bring himself to listen to her songs.

According to US Weekly, it seems that Mariah's music is almost like the sound of nails on a chalkboard, well at least in Nick's case. While the star was attending Chris Paul's L.A. charity bowling tournament at the AMF Bowl-o-Drome in California earlier today, he couldn't help but get annoyed when the DJ started serenading the crowd with some tracks by his former lover.

"Nick looked irritated-he was cringing," an insider explained to the site. "Nick had a publicist go over to the DJ and demand he stop playing Mariah's tracks."

We don't blame Nick, after all, we wouldn't want to be reminded of our ex while we are trying to do something fun like bowling.

According to People, Cannon officially filed for divorce almost two months ago on December 12. The couple has been separated since August and they have since been working out the legal terms of their split, including the division of their assets.

In fact, Mariah caused a controversy during Christmas time when she was late to the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting ceremony, because she was on the phone with her attorney talking about legal issues in relation to the divorce.

We wonder if Mariah's the same way when it comes to her ex, and can't watch him hosting America's Got Talent?
