The first trailer for director Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie adaptation of the popular 1960s spy TV show of the same name premiered this week, and it definitely looks like one of the most exciting films of 2015. Two of classic TV's most popular spies are reborn with Man of Steel's Superman actor Henry Cavill as Napoleon Solo and The Lone Ranger and The Social Network star Armie Hammer as his Russian partner Illya Kuryakin in this Cold War action film. Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris, and Hugh Grant also star in this highly anticipated movie. Watch this great new preview video below!

For the first trailer of the film project, this new footage definitely doesn't disappoint! We get some back-story on our characters and dive right into the action of Ritchie's new movie.

When America teams up with Russia to take down an organization with Nazi ties, we jump into a "buddy cop" type formula, but with Cavill and Hammer its not as goofy as it is just plain cool. Ritchie's style definitely jumps out in theis first trailer, but we really want to see more from this movie! Thankfully, it hits theaters on August 14!

Here is the official synopsis of this new movie (via Slash Film):

Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, at the height of the Cold War, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." centers on CIA agent Solo and KGB agent Kuryakin. Forced to put aside longstanding hostilities, the two team up on a joint mission to stop a mysterious international criminal organization, which is bent on destabilizing the fragile balance of power through the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology. The duo's only lead is the daughter of a vanished German scientist, who is the key to infiltrating the criminal organization, and they must race against time to find him and prevent a worldwide catastrophe.
