'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' Plot Synopsis Revealed - Johnny Depp's 2017 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' Starts Filming

Disney announced this week that the 5^th Pirates of the Caribbean movie, entitled Dead Men Tell No Tales, has officially started filming in Australia. Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin R. McNally, and Stephen Graham are returning to reprise their respective roles in the 2017 Jerry Bruckheimer film. Joining these stars are newcomers to the series Javier Bardem, Kayla Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, and Golshifteh Farahani. Released on Disney's official movie news blog and a press release sent out to the media this week, we learned the main plot details of the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean sequel.

"Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea... including him," the official synopsis from Disney states. "Captain Jack's only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas."
