ComiXology's Marvel Digital Comics Sale: Buy Star Wars, Thor, Storm, Ms. Marvel, & Get One Free!

ComiXology is offering readers a special digital comics sale from Marvel Comics. With a valid code, when comic book fans buy one issue, whether it be an installment from the best-selling Star Wars, Thor, Storm, or Ms. Marvel, they also get one free, at the price of nothing. 

According to the release, all Marvel Comics and Collections are now buy one, get one free. Readers can enter the code, MARVEL, when they pass by the checkout on the Comixology site and Marvel's comic store.

This digital comics sale begins Friday, February 20th at 10:00 am (EST) and will run until Monday, February 23rd at 11:59 pm (EST). Though the offer does not apply to Marvel Bundles, MAX and ICON titles, fans will be able to buy any number of Marvel books and get an equal number of Marvel books at the same or lesser value for free.

In our MStars News review of the first Star Wars issue, we loved how writer Jason Aaron brought to life the characters with his snappy dialogue. The love/hate banter between Leia and Han is back again. In every single panel, artist John Cassady's artwork is quite glossy and painterly, during the battle between Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

As we previously mentioned, in our review of the first installment of Thor #1, a new era began with the introduction of Female Thor. Aaron played right into the themes of self-value and self-worth. Artist Russell Dauterman delivered nonstop impressive sights to see,  as the Frost Giants as they invaded Midgard.
